Always great food, quick service and friendly staff. We have gone multiple times and never a bad experience

As everyone mentions, the portions here are enormous - it's a great bang for your buck. The food is also good, although heavy on the cream and oil. Cocktails leave somethings to be desired - my husband ordered an espresso martini and it seemed to be just Bailey's in a glass. I would stick with wine. The Rhode Island-style calamari is also a must-have. The service is quick and friendly. I came during Christmas break and it was very crowded. We had a reservation and still had to wait, which is why I knocked off one star. I like the outside patio. There are lots of TVs everywhere so that takes the ambiance down a notch. Otherwise, the ambiance is pretty great!

Went for dinner with friends on Saturday night for our first time trying out Marchetti's. Highly recommend calling for reservations (we did and it was perfect as we were seated on time with no issues). Sat in what seemed like a finished enclosed patio area. Only downfall was defitinitely a little cold especially seated near the windows. For food we go Clams Casino & Mozzarella Sticks for appetizers, and they also brought out a tossed salad for the table to share with bread. For meals we got Chicken Parm, Chicken Ala Vodka, & Super Seafood Pasta. The portions here were HUGE and well worth the money. We had plenty of leftovers for sure.

We were here the Friday after Thanksgiving, and got right in around 5PM. That typically doesn't happen; you should always make a reservation! Bu the time we left, there were many people waiting to sit. Service was excellent. Dino was our server, and was on task at all times. The food was, as usual, on point and delicious! There were specials, along with the regular menu. My husband had Chicken cutlet and penne with pink vodka sauce. I had a special of chicken piccata with a side of penne with Marchetti's signature red sauce. Of course, there was the salad bowl and rolls. This restaurant is always bustling, but we never felt rushed. There were many TVs around with sports games on as well as one with local news. Marchetti's is always a good place to go for Italian food!

The service was above average. Joe was great. The drinks will hit you like a mule. Delish but strong. The food is ridiculous. Great but way too much. We went for my birthday at 4:30 on a Friday night with no reservation. They put us out on what I would concidered a closed in porch. No ambiance to speak of, but who cares if the good and service are great and at a reasonable price. Was not my first time her and definitely won't be my last!

This review is only for a takeout order of warm lobster rolls...definitely recommend! These lobster rolls are gigantic and so delicious!

Large portions! Very busy place! I had the espresso martini. The food was yummy!!! And the service was good. Will definitely come again!!!

What's not to love about family style dinner? delicious classic Italian spot for the whole family cheap delicious huge portions. You will go back home with the doggy bag. Worth every penny with their wonderful service of family owned goodness, and the locals are great! This spot is always popping and it's for a reason! Best chicken parm in RI
